With 10 number one songs, multiple radio hits, and numerous industry accolades, this Dove Award-winning quartet has achieved legendary status as they have remained atop the gospel charts consistently in each of the past four decades.  They have won over 60 Singing News Fan Awards as a group and among the individual group members. Daniel Riley is at the helm of the present-day Gold City that continues to regularly tour the United States as well as several foreign countries.  His outstanding baritone voice, emcee ability and leadership make up the foundation of this quartet that is carrying on the legacy that was established by his Hall of Fame father, Tim Riley. Daniel is joined by three outstanding vocalists who continue to produce music that inspires and uplifts their fans while keeping that trend-setting style and standard for which Gold City has always been known  Bruce Taliaferro brings a powerful lead voice to the group, which he uses with great energy. His testimony is one of redemption and restoration. Chris Jenkins’ tenor voice is strong and clear, and his passion for this music and love for the Lord is felt in every note he sings.

The ministry focus is endorsed by the choice of name for this entity. Avenue displays the mission that their music is the avenue by which they proclaim the greatest message there is - the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The group’s debut project, Songs For Every Mile, released in June 2018. The album manifests their big sound with strong vocals and poignant messages for the listener. The first radio release, ‘One Of These Mornings,’ rose to #23 on the Singing News radio chart. Avenue’s sophmore release, Here We Are, continued the trend of powerhouse songs with the singles ‘They Could Not,’ and ‘I Will Follow Christ.’
