Freedom Quartet is from Sevierville, TN. This exciting new quartet consists of the "creme dela creme" of Gospel music.  The lead singer is Dale Shipley, who has an array of accolades and accomplishments and is best known for his days with the group, Perfect Heart. Dale was also inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. John Rulapaugh sings tenor and is best known from his days with The Florida Boys, Dove Brothers, and Palmetto State Quartet.   Filling the baritone position for the group is Preston Garner.  Garner is not only a notable vocalist with a vast array of experience. He is also a music minister and worship pastor and has a very clear understanding of leading an audience to the throne of God. Taking the bass position is Burman Porter, one of the most talented bass singers to grace a Gospel music stage.  Burman reunites with Rulapaugh who sang together in Dove Brothers and Palmetto State Quartet.

Members of this group have enjoyed outstanding success in their individual music careers, garnering many award nominations prior to banding together to form "Freedom Quartet." They were voted the 2015 Singing News "Favorite New Traditional Quartet Of The Year."
